Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company Visit's the Greenwich Elementary School for Fire Precention Week 2007

Fire 98 provides a Fire Prevention assembly to K-3rd grades at the Greenwich Elementry School in Greenwich Township. The assembly started off with a fire alarm drill with the Stewartsville Fire Department responding on site. After the building was checked and the alarm reset, the kids returned to the building. Shortly thereafter several classes came out and received some fire prevention education from the Fire Chief Joe Mecsey and several other members of Fire98. The visit concluded with the kids taking a walk around and through the fire engine. This was repeated 7-8 time throughout the day. These photos are from the first three tours.
